The guy behind the blog

Hai there! My name is Josh Hubi and I am the lead content writer here at insomniatics. I say this because I might occasionally have other writers involved in the fun. Some of you might know me as a french house music producer and dj but this bio is not for that. I’ll try to keep that separate here (well at least not in the music page).

Besides my love for music, I have a huge passion for computers. I am currently earning my bachelor’s degree in computer science at the New York City college of technology. I am very strong in web development from IT and system repair. I know a bit too much as a matter of fact. This is because I was always that type of guy who would rather blow off a offer going to a high school party or hanging out with friends just to simply stay home and fiddle with my computer. I not going to say it was completely not worth it, because it so was in every way possible.

I’ve been involved in countless projects with my good friend Ryan Maffit. He’s been alongside me each step of the way as I stunk up the place with my fail. I owe a great deal of my knowledge to him too. He’s the less crazier, more pwnin’ copy of myself. We’ve conquered web hosting together, tried to keep the peace at a gaming company, survived a resonance cascade, and got harassed by a super evil CEO. But all and all it turned out to be great learning experience and good people along the way of each step. We are currently taking footnotes on our next adventure and im sure something will go epicly wrong with our server while doing so <3

Well I never sleep! You could catch me up on MSN during all hours of the night working on music, a new website, or simply surfing the web looking for crazy shit. That is the sole purpose of this very website. To give me something to do when I cant sleep. Share with the world the craziness I endure while going on for 48 hours without any rest.
